TV y Novelas caught up with Enrique backstage on opening night of the Enrique and Pitbull Live! Tour in Chicago!
Enrique talked about working and touring with Pitbull, and reinventing himself as a artist.

Enrique Iglesias le dio comienzo a su nueva gira por Estados Unidos con un lleno total en el AllState Arena de Chicago, al lado de Pitbull, siendo esta el tercer tour en que ambas estrellas comparten el escenario.
En total serán 36 shows que el cantante español y el rapero cubanoamericano realizarán, ante casi medio millón de asistentes.
“Cuando me subo al escenario me siento como una nave espacial gigante. Renovamos el repertorio y siento que a través del diseño de las rampas y plataformas estoy aún más cerca del público que es lo que más disfruto”, dijo Iglesias emocionado.
Enrique aseguró que “a nivel producción nos las ingeniamos con mi banda para hacer nuevas entradas y salidas a los temas para hacer el show más rico musicalmente”.
“El encuentro con Chicago fue estupendo. Siempre da un poco de nervios el primer show, pero una vez termina el primero ya no hay vuelta atrás hasta que terminamos la gira”, agregó.
La nueva gira que lleva como nombre #EnriqueIglesiasPitbullLive es una pura adrenalina, al combinar dos géneros distintos causando na explosión de energía.
“Creo que se van complacidos y ese es nuestro mayor regalo. Que logren llegar y por tres horas olvidarse de los problemas y situaciones que nos preocupan a todos. La música es una manera mágica de conectar con los fans”, comentó.
El intérprete de temas como Tonight, I Like It, Cuando me enamoro o Bailando afirma sentirse feliz con el apoyo de sus fans a Súbeme la radio que ya ha rebasado los 80 millones de “downloads”, considerado por los críticos como el tema del verano.
“Mr. 305 es mi hermano y desde que lo invité a mi gira en 2012 se ha convertido ya como en una tradición que os hace felices a todos. Tenemos muchas cosas en común, sobretodo admiración mutua a nivel personal y profesional”, dijo Enrique sobre Pitbull.
Tras compartir el escenario en sus giras con grandes como Paulina Rubio. Aventura, Romeo, Prince Royce, Jenifer Lopez, Gente de Zona, JBalvin, Wisin y Yandel, Iglesias asegura que solo quiere que el público viva una experiencia memorable.
“Si he podido de alguna forma servir de instrumento para para que crezcamos todos como latinos me doy por servido. Luego de hacer tantas colaboraciones en mi carrera con colegas que admito lo menos que puedo hacer es estar abierto a la nuevas generaciones y seguir haciendo fusiones tanto en el estudio como en el escenario”, manifestó, la revelar que “ahora invitamos a los chicos de CNCO”.
“El secreto está en reinventarse constantemente, no quedarse estancado o tener miedo a experimentar. Después de tantos años en esto. Pienso que no sé nada y que me falta mucho por aprender de todos los ‘influencers’del mundo que son ahora los nuevos líderes de opinión”, concluyó.
