Enrique Iglesias’ Year In Review – 2017

2017  has been an amazing year for Enrique Iglesias that has been full of amazing accomplishments. From co-headlining a sold out North American Tour with Pitbull to becoming a first time Father, this has been one of his best years yet. We have broken down the most noteworthy events in this Year in Review!

January:

January 10th: Enrique Iglesias begins filming the music video for his upcoming single, “Súbeme La Radio” in Havana, Cuba.

January 14th: Enrique Iglesias announces his adoption of a new German Shepherd puppy he named Max!

February:

February 24th: Enrique Iglesias drops his new single titled, “Súbeme La Radio” featuring Descemer Bueno and Zion y Lennox.

February 24th: Enrique Iglesias drops the much anticipated music video for his new single, “Súbeme La Radio!”

February 24th: Enrique Iglesias wins two awards at the “Premio Lo Nuestro Awards” – ‘Collaboration of the Year – Duele El Corazon’ & ‘Male Artist of the Year’

March:

March 6th: Enrique Iglesias’ “Duele El Corazon” wins ‘Latin Song of the Year’ at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

March 21st: Enrique Iglesias alongside co-owner Rafael Nadal open up their new restaurant, “Tatel” in Miami, FL.

April:

April 22nd: Enrique Iglesias releases the official music video for “Súbeme La Radio” remix featuring Jacob Forever and Descemer Bueno.

May:

May 15th: Enrique Iglesias performed at the annual Telemundo Upfront at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

May 27th: Enrique Iglesias wins the award for “Best Artist From The World” at Tim MTV Awards.

June:

June 3rd: The North American, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull Live! Tour kicks off in at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.

July:

July 7th: Enrique Iglesias performed at Premios Juventud. The performance was pre-recorded from the Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull Live! Tour date in San Antonio, TX.

July 8th: CNCO presents Enrique with the award for “Idolo De La Juventud” backstage at Premios Juventud.

July 13th: Enrique Iglesias releases the English Remix to “Súbeme La Radio.” The new remix features Sean Paul.

August:

August 11th: Enrique Iglesias performs at a private gala at the hotel Cala Di Volpe in Porto Cervo, Italy.

September:

September 16th: Enrique Iglesias performs first of two shows as part of Las Vegas’ Mexican Independence Day celebration at Caesars Palace.

September 17th: Enrique performs second Mexican Independence Day performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

October:

October 3rd: Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull kick off the second leg of their North American Tour in Washington, DC.

October 26th: Enrique Iglesias presented Pitbull with the first ever Dick Clark Achievement Award at the Latin American Music Awards in Miami, FL.

October 26th: Enrique Iglesias takes home the awards for ‘Artista Del Ano,’ ‘Artista Masculino Favorito: Pop/Rock,’ and ‘Colaboración Favorita: Enrique Iglesias Ft Descemer Bueno and Zion Y Lennox, “Subeme La Radio”‘ at the Latin American Music Awards.

November:

November 3rd: Enrique Iglesias teams up with Sony Music Latin to help create #LatinStrong, which helps Latin Artists initiatives to give back to the community and to encourage fans to donate to causes they support.

November 9th: Enrique Iglesias wins the award for “Artista De La Década” at the “Premios Telehit Awards.

December:

December 16th: Enrique Iglesias and girlfriend Anna Kournikova welcome newborn twins Nicholas and Lucy in Miami. These are the first children for the couple.

December 28th: Enrique Iglesias performs his last show of 2017 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
