Enrique Iglesias Talks Scary Shark Encounter With ‘Guilty Pleasures’

Enrique Iglesias recently spoke with ‘Guilty Pleasures” about a scary encounter with a shark on a recent vacation to the Bahamas.

Check out the full interview below:

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS really did have a lucky Escape when he narrowly avoided being snapped up by a shark.

In an exclusive chat with Guilty Pleasures, the Spanish singer revealed he dodged the Jaws of death while holidaying in the Bahamas, thanks to a pal who became his Hero (baby).
‘I was spear-fishing and a friend saved my life, because this bull shark went straight for me,’ recalled Enrique.
‘If it wasn’t for my friend, I probably would have bled to death,’ he exclaimed. ‘It was going for my leg!’

The brush with death ‘freaked me out’, the singer added.
Happier (and safer) on dry land, the king of Latin pop is currently making a splash in the UK singles chart with his new track Subeme La Radio (out now).

The summer tune features last year’s X Factor champ Matt Terry — not that Enrique is harbouring any plans to become a reality TV judge, despite being offered the job multiple times.

‘I was asked to do X Factor, American Idol and The Voice,’ said the 42-year-old. ‘I’ve performed on them but I don’t know if I see myself as a judge’.
However, the music heart-throb, who dates ex-tennis ace Anna Kournikova, 36, insists he isn’t against telly talent shows… far from it.
‘There has been criticism, “Oh, that’s not the way to get signed” but I actually disagree. Times have changed’ Enrique explained.

‘Walking into a record building and trying to get signed, or going on TV and getting signed, it’s the same thing… they’re just different methods,’ he concluded.
